Song 5: “I Notice You Pt. 5 (At My Door)” —Synopsis:

“At My Door” brings everything into one space — no more distance, no more wondering.

Mya, still unsure but drawn in, makes the decision to see Dontay for herself. What once lived in the shadows is now standing in front of her. For Dontay, this moment is everything — the line between watching and being present finally disappears.

But at the same time, the outside world catches up.

The cop, now aware of Dontay’s identity, arrives at his residence — only to find Mya already there. What was once a quiet, internal tension now becomes a real confrontation.

Emotions collide as all three stand face to face —
Dontay holding onto what he believes is love,
the cop stepping in to protect,
and Mya caught in between, searching for truth.

This track is the breaking point —
where obsession, reality, and choice all meet at the same door.

“I Notice You Pt. 5 (At My Door)” – Lyrics

Hook (Mya / Dontay)
(Mya)
Why you here… at my door tonight?

You called me here… said it feel right…

(Mya)
I don’t know… what this really means…

(Dontay)
You been feelin’ me… in your dreams…

(Both)
Somethin’ ’bout this don’t feel wrong…
Even if it took too long…

Verse 1 (Dontay)
You standin’ there like you know my soul…

(Mya)
I been there longer than you know…

(Dontay)
Why I feel like this ain’t new?
’Cause every moment led to you…

(Mya)
You scare me… but I ain’t run…

(Dontay)
I ain’t here to harm no one…

(Mya)
Then tell me how you know so much…

(Dontay)
I paid attention, that’s all it was…

Hook (both)

Why you here… at my door tonight…

(Both)
You called me here… said it feel right…

Verse 2 (Mya)
I hear sirens in the distance now…
Lights flashin’ on your house…

(Dontay)
That’s him… he said he’d stop by…
(Mya) Said he found out who you are tonight…

(Dontay)
So he finally put a name to me…
But he still don’t know what you see…

(Mya)
Wait—don’t… don’t make this worse….
I ain’t movin’ first…

Bridge

(Dontay)
Stop right there, don’t turn this wrong…

(Mya) Ain’t nobody gotta prove they strong…

(Dontay)
I’m right here… (Mya) I ain’t runnin’ now…

(Dontay)
This ain’t fear, I just need the truth…

(Mya) Both of y’all standin’ in my view…

(Mya)
This ain’t how it’s supposed to go…
But I gotta know…

Final Hook (Mya / Dontay)

Why you here… at my door tonight…
You both standin’ in the same light…

(Both)
I don’t know what’s wrong or right…
But I feel somethin’ deep inside…

(Dontay)
I been here…

(Mya)
Now I see…

(Dontay)
This ain’t how it’s supposed to be…

Outro
(Mya)
I asked for truth… now here it stands…

(Dontay)
I never left…

(Mya)
…so what am I supposed to do now…

The lyrics resonate deeply; I felt every powerful word delivered by Dontay & Mya's soulful voice.
